For the past 40 years Oakcrest has been committed to the work in Lisbon, Portugal as its primary supporter.

Whether it be “street evangelism,” hosting an annual “Sweetheart Banquet” that is attended by almost 100 people, youth camps, a dynamic women’s ministry, small group Bible studies in homes, or just being unselfish servants for those in need, the Lisbon church is making a difference for Him. It is a very cosmopolitan church which numbers approximately 100 members. The Lisbon church is very evangelistic, benevolent, and committed to making a difference for Him in Lisbon and throughout the whole country of Portugal. Individuals from all over the world have come to know Jesus through the influence of the Lisbon church in their lives.

Currently, we support two families, Ricardo and Diana Neves with their five children (Daniel, Daniela, Carolina, Renato, and Jessica) and Valfredo and Soili Dias. These two families are passionate servants of God, and their positive leadership in the Lisbon church is very evident. Ricardo Neves continues as the lead evangelist, and his wife, Diana, coordinates children’s and women’s ministries. Valfredo and Soili continue to be very involved in the work as well. Valfredo’s primary focus is with seniors and newcomers, and Soili is active with the women’s ministry and a benevolence outreach. Numerous other individuals have matured into leadership roles, and the positive influence of the Lisbon church continues to grow in Lisbon and beyond.
